Beadazzling Break

Choose from one of our locally-printed Hammerpress postcards and pull up a chair to start bedazzling it! This is an all inclusive workshop that should take about an hour. Bring your own Stanley or snacks. When the workshop is over, you will hopefully walk away with a completed postcard, suitable for framing, turning into a cute magnet, or bravely putting in the mail! With proper postage, there is nothing in our postal rules that limits you from sending a bedazzled postcard!

This workshop is open to all ages and all abilities. You do need to have a decent amount of hand dexterity, so we do not recommended this workshop for kids under the age of five who are usually still working on those fine motor skills. The gems are very tiny, and we will give you a selection of tools to work with, so please keep that in mind.

We hope this workshop gives you a little bit of fun levity… Which, let’s face it, we could ALL use!

We also just enjoy poking holes in the idea that you should HAVE TO spend $40 or more just to dip your toe in the water and try out a new craft!! We’ve all done it. We went to the craft store to buy the stuff that we saw on that cool TikTok video too… And $50+ later we were not any closer to creating our own rug or wearing our own quilted, retro kitchen apron. If you were to independently purchase a bedazzling kit, sealer, and tools you’d have easily “invested” three times the registration fee of this workshop while also completely missing out on the laughter and fun that comes with the community aspect.

Please note: This workshop can be easily repeated and duplicated on other dates and times. If the dates and times we have selected doesn’t work for you and your group of friends or family, just let us know, and we will schedule to better suit your group!
